Treasure Hunt at Home
1 / 2
Materials
- Paper and a pen for the clues
- 5-6 small objects to hide
- A final "treasure" (optional)
Hide a few objects around the house and write a simple clue for each one, leading to the next hiding spot. Match the difficulty of the clues to each child's age: drawings for the youngest, short rhymes or riddles for older kids.
It's a great activity for rainy afternoons or whenever energy needs burning off without leaving the house, and it works just as well with one child as with siblings racing in teams.
